Who Are We?
Founded in 1999 by professional harpist and educator Ingrid Janse van Rensburg, Avondale Harp Enterprises has been serving the South African harp community for over 25 years. What began as a solution to provide local harpists with quality strings has grown into South Africa’s trusted destination for world-renowned Salvi and Lyon & Healy harps, accessories, music, rentals, servicing, and expert guidance.
With a Bachelor of Music (Honours), teaching licentiates from Trinity College of Music, London, and decades of experience as both a performer and teacher, Ingrid has dedicated her career to making the harp more accessible across South Africa.
