Avondale Harps arranges expert servicing and regulation for your harp every two years, carried out by Billy Hornby, an internationally recognised harp technician.

Billy has worked with harps since 1989, beginning at the Bow Brand string factory before training as a harp technician in Chicago and Italy. He’s been an independent technician since 2008, is a member of the Technicians’ Guild (supported by Lyon & Healy and Salvi Harps), and has serviced South African harps since 1998 — as well as harps across the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, and the Middle East.

Full Service & Regulation covers felt replacement, mechanism inspection, pedal/lever adjustment, and interval intonation calibration.
Half Service covers lighter maintenance such as felt/lever checks and buzz elimination.
